Congregation Rodeph Shalom

Inspired by the great synagogue of Florence, Italy, and designed by the firm Simon and Simon, Rodeph Shalom is one of the only synagogues in this country that retains the Byzantine-Moorish style.The Congregation Rodeph Shalom was experiencing areas water infiltration across the building when they engaged TBS to determine the condition of the terra cotta cladding, parapet wall, copings, and roof systems. Our assessment included system terminations, sealant/mortar joints and the parapet wall systems The purpose of the investigation was to identify the existing deficiencies and their probable cause in order to establish a benchmark for a phased remedial work and preventative maintenance plan for the building.
