PECO

The PECO Energy Company Headquarters located at in Philadelphia is comprised of a thirty-story high-rise tower attached to an eight-story low-rise building. Both are designed in the International Style and constructed in 1966. The exterior skin of the building is an aluminum curtainwall system comprised of glass and aluminum clad panels at the floor slabs and columns. TBS was retained to perform a complete evaluation of the existing curtain wall and exterior enclosure components, including the existing north atrium curtain wall and skylight system. TBS identified existing deficiencies, provided recommendations. TBS then designed and documented the renovation of the entire exterior, which included custom designed silicone sealants.
