St.Josephs University - Boathouse Floor

The Robert Gillin, Jr. Boathouse is a 20,000 square foot, two-level facility, located on the east bank of the Schuylkill River. The boathouse provides a permanent home for the St. Joseph’s University Hawk’s rowing. The boathouse consists of four bays for the storage and launching of the boats, a locker room and coaches' offices. The approximately $3 million building was completed in 2002. TBS was engaged to provide the professional services required to investigate the cause associated with the buckling of interior floor finishes at the second floor above the boat storage. TBS then provided the documentation required to correct the existing conditions.
